Brewery

D&G was established on the island of Jamaica by Hargreaves Geddes and Eugene Desnoes in 1918. Desnoes and Geddes Limited (D&G) started production of DRAGON STOUT in 1920 and the brand has now come to be one of the Caribbean’s most popular stouts. In 1993 D&G was acquired by Diageo Plc and remains part of the Diageo family of world brands.

D&G also produces one of the Caribbean’s best-known lagers - Red Stripe beer and Dragon Stout is sometimes referred to as Red Stripe's darker and stronger brother.

Only the finest quality raw materials are used in the production process, which guarantees consistency in product quality. The brewing process utilises a Grade A two-row European malt, caramel, roasted malt and dark brown sugar.

Dragon Stout although exclusively produced in Jamaica, is also exported throughout the Caribbean, the USA, Canada and the UK. Wanis Limited are the exclusive distributor of Dragon Stout in the UK.
